Vishal surprised the 'Sandakozhi 2' set by hosting a double dhamaka celebration for the blockbuster status achievement of his last film 'Irumbu Thirai' and heroine Keerthy Suresh's 'Nadigaiyar Thilagam'/'Mahanati'. Giant cakes with the posters of the two films were ordered and Vishal and Keerthy Suresh cut and passed it on to director Linguswamy, dance choreographer Brinda and the rest of the crew. Its a long time since two films did extraordinary business in their Tamil and Telugu versions.

'Sandakozhi 2' which is fast nearing completion has Vishal, Keerthy Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Raj Kiran in the cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for this most expected sequel.
