Vishal's upcoming fantasy action film 'Mark Antony' has been in production for several months as it involves multiple getups and time periods. Unfortunately a terrible accident occurred on the 22nd of last month during a stunt sequence when a truck lost control and almost mowed down Vishal and SJ Surya who were extremely lucky to escape unhurt.

Now the news has come that within less than ten days another accident happened on the sets of 'Mark Antony'. According to reports the shooting was held at the EVP Film City on the outskirts of Chennai. On Tuesday an action sequence was under way when a lamp post suddenly fell down and light man Murugan hailing from Kumananchavadi was hurt on his forehead. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received treatment and was later discharged. The cast and crew were visibly shaken after facing two dangerous accidents in a short span but were releived that there were no serious injuries in both cases.

'Mark Antony' is directed by Adhik Ravichandran with G.V. Prakash Kumar scoring the music. The star cast comprises of Vishal, S.J. Suryah, Abhinaya, Ritu Varma and Sunil. The film produced on a grand scale by S. Vinod Kumar under the banner Mini Studios is expected to release in the last quarter of 2023.
