Vishal's laudable gesture to Alwa Vasu's daughter

Alwa Vasu has entertained millions of Tamil cinema fans in more than 900 films, notably in 'Amaidhi Padai', 'Arunachalam', 'Sivaji' and a number of collaborations with Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu. The veteran comedian recently passed away due to kidney failure in Madurai leaving behind his wife Amudha and teen daughter Krishna Jayanthika.

Vishal on behalf of his Devi Trust has donated one lakh rupees to Alwa Vasu's wife to aid the education of her daughter. The Nadigar Sangam had already given rupees twenty thousand as relief and now Vishal has personally done his bit for his departed colleague.
