In a shocking turn of events for Vishal and the Nadigar Sangam, one of the vice presidents, Ponvannan has resigned from his post in protest of Vishal's decision to enter poltics.  It is reported that the veteran actor-director has said that he is shocked by Vishal going back on his words that politics will stay away from the union.  Ponvannan along with President Nassar, Treasurer Karthi, Secretary Vishal and vice president Karunaas formed the famous Pandavar Ani during the elections and now it looks like the unity has broken due to the recent events.  

Vishal's political ambitions has already created a rift in the Producer Council as Cheran has gone all guns blazing against him demanding his rout which also saw a huge ruckus in the General Body Meeting conducted yesterday.
