Actor Vishal's rural action entertainer 'Marudhu' is all set to hit the screens this Friday that is May 20. The film has been directed by Muthiah of 'Kutty Puli' and 'Komban' fame.

The film has been certified with U/A rating by the Censor board officials who watched the film. Apparently, the clean U rating has been denied owing to the violent content of the film. The film would run to two hours and 25 minutes (145 minutes).

'Marudhu' produced by Anbuchezhiyan of Gopuram Films is expected to take a huge opening at the box office as it is the solo Tamil release of the week. The film stars Vishal and Sridivya in lead roles while Soori. Radharavi and RK Suresh have acted in important roles. D.Imman has scored the music and Velraj has cranked the cinematography.
