The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has after a meeting decided not to release Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' in Karnataka citing the reason that Rajini had spoken against the sentiments of the Kannada people in the Cauvery Management Board issue.

The Nadigar Sangam secretary and Producer Council head Vishal has questioned the decision of the Karnataka Film Chamber and has stated "What Rajini sir spoke about Cauvery issue is called responsibility and freedom of speech.   Can they stop 'Kaala' release n Karnataka in retaliation. I sincerely hope the Karnataka film chamber and fellow brothers resolve this issue.we all are Indians. God Bless".
