Vishal has turned his fan clubs into a party and has named it Makkal Nala Iyakkam. He has also introduced his flag in which his image is embossed and the Tamil terms 'Ani Servom' (Let's come together) and 'Anbai Vithaipom' (Let's sow the seeds of love) are read. There are also the photos of Mother Teresa on one side and APJ Abdul Kalam on the other with the captions 'Vivegam' (Prudence) 'Vithiyasam' (Different) and 'Vida Muyarchi' (Determination) added.

The announcement was made on the occasion of Vishal's birthday yesterday. Vishal stated that 'MNI' is an organization to serve people more than being a political party.

Political analysts are of the opinion that Vishal does have ambitions in politics and follows the long list of actors turned politicians in Tamil cinema including MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, T Rajendhar, K Bhagyaraj, Vijayakanth, Sarathkumar, now Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
