For this year Dr Vishnuvardhana birth anniversary on September 18 there is some good news for the fans. Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial related papers for 2 acres of land adjacent to Abhiman Studio were handed over on Wednesday by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana. KFCC President Vijayakumar who is also an admirer of Dr Vishnuvardhana from a long time was present.
The long battle of three years for acquiring 2 acres of land is over. At the 2 acres of land next to Abhiman Studio on Mysore Road  Dr Vishnuvardhana was cremated on 31st December 2009. The land at this place was sanctioned by the then chief minister HD Kumaraswamy and Dr Ambarish played a vital role in getting this land for his long time friend Dr Vishnuvardhana memorial.
Dr Vishnuvardhana is a very special actor of Kannada cinema. I have spoken to the family members in setting all decks cleared for start of Dr Vishnu memorial informed Karnataka chief minister addressing the media.
The problems started in the family of TN Balakrishna late actor in whose name the land was originally registered.
