Vishwaroopam-2 gets a release date

'Vishwaroopam-2' is finally getting a theatrical release after years of delay. The makers have today announced its release date as August 10.

Touted to be a spy thriller, it stars Kamal Haasan in an author-backed role.

Later today, at 5 PM, its trailer will be unveiled by NTR. The Hindi version will be unveiled by Aamir Khan. And the Tamil version will be done by Shruti Haasan.

Starring Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar of the recent 'PSV Garuda Vega' fame, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekar Kapur and others, the second and final edition of the 'Vishwaroopam' franchise has music by Ghibran. Directed by Kamal himself, who has co-written it with Atul Tiwari, the film is expected to have a political subtext.
