Ajith's Vivegam has an interesting connection with Pulimurugan

While Thala Ajith's 'Vivegam' is getting ready to hit the screens in the month of August, the latest we learn is that the release rights of 'Vivegam' in Kerala has been bagged by Tomichan Mulakuppadam of Mulakuppadam Films, the producers of Malayalam cinema's biggest ever blockbuster Pulimurugan starring Mohanlal. Reportedly, the rights of the movie are bagged for a huge amount, perhaps the biggest ever for an Ajith starrer.
It is needless to say, Ajith has extended his popularity to Kerala considerably over the past few years. Like Tamil audiences, Keralites are also eagerly awaiting the release of Vivegam. The movie marks the third time collaboration of Ajith and Siruthai Siva after Veeram and Vedhalam.
Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead while Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi and Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan will be seen in prominent roles. Produced by Satya Jyothi Films, the movie's music department is handled by Anirudh Ravichander
