The news of dalit boys who were stripped and beaten violently in Maharashtra as they swam in a well belonging to higher caste people is as shocking as disappointing. Leading politicians including the likes of Rahul Gandhi have registered their stern condemnation.

Actor comedian Vivek who is known for voicing his opinion strongly regarding social issues took to twitter to do the same. Terming the incident to be shameful for the nation, Vivek stated primarily we are humans, then brothers and then only Indians. He also added that humanity hasn’t developed as much as science.
