Actor Vivek, known for his hilarious comedies, starring alongside all top heroes of the industry, and known for his socially relevant messages laced in comedy episodes has also starred as the lead actor in few movies like Naanthaan Bala, Palakaatu Madhavan etc to name a few.

Last seen in Thala Ajith's Viswasam, the actor has now announced his next in a lead role. Vivek took it to Twitter to announce that his next in a full fledged lead role is titled Vellai Pookal and the movie shot in Seattle, US was made by a Seattle based team.

Vivek revealed that Vellai Pookkal will be released on April 19, and the movie's first look will be released by actor Suriya on March 22, Friday. The movie is produced jointly by Indus Entertainments, Trident Arts and Tentkotta, the popular streaming portal.
