VJs 'insult' Suriya's physical stature

Two Video Jockeys named Sangeetha and Niveditha are on the receiving end of criticism for mocking Suriya's height on a Tamil-language show.
In the now-controversial episode, one of the VJs says that Amitabh Bachchan will be doing a role in KV Anand's film with Suriya. At this, the other VJ laughs and wonders how Suriya can be seen alongside Big B, given the former's height.
She also exclaims that only sitting scenes may have to be shot with the two.
Many feel that this humour is in poor taste. The VJs have been trolled for their remarks made in a jocular manner.
