Wanted to make a family drama: Paruchuri

Paruchuri Murali is happy that Adhinayakudu is being described as a family drama. When he wanted to make a film with Balakrishna, he ventured out with the endeavour of presenting him in three different shades. The character of Harischandra Prasad reminds one of Vivekananda. That's how much idea he is. Balakrishna's performance is being highly appreciated. We have not criticised anyone in the film. Adhinayakudu has nothing to do with political parties and the elections, the director said.

The film, as per the producer, is witnessing good collections all around. For the director, Balayya is reminding the people of NTR.

The film was released after much delay but the fact doesn't seem to have affected it. It would have seen greater collections had it been released during Sankranthi season.
