War 2 Telugu Rights Sold for a Whopping 90 Crores

Producer Naga Vamsi has acquired the Telugu distribution rights for the upcoming film ‘War 2’ for a massive price. Reports suggest that he has bought the rights for around ?90 crore. Known to be a close friend of Jr. NTR, Vamsi’s involvement has created high expectations among Jr. NTR’s fans for a grand release in the Telugu states.

‘War 2’ marks the debut of Jr. NTR in Hindi cinema. The film also stars Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in prominent roles. The action scenes featuring Hrithik and Jr. NTR have generated a lot of anticipation. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the trailer of the film is expected to be released soon.

Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, the distribution rights for superstar Rajinikanth’s film ‘Coolie’ have been taken by Asian Cinemas, Dil Raju, and Suresh Babu together. However, Naga Vamsi securing the rights for ‘War 2’ has set the stage for a tough competition in theatre bookings around the release date, August 14.
