'Sye Raa' is all set to lock horns with 'WAR' form tomorrow (October 2). While the Telugu version of the film is the King of Box-Office (it being second to none), the Hindi version is expected to face heavy headwinds.

The reason is that the Chiranjeevi-starrer is facing stiff competition from 'WAR'. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, its opening day nett figure is pegged at Rs 45 Cr by early trade reports. Advance sales have breached the Rs 25 Cr figure.

"In this, 'Sye Raa' is yet to make a mark. This is the most immediate Tollywood biggie to release nationally after Prabhas' 'Saaho'. 'WAR' is releasing on 4,000 screens. You can imagine," a source says.

If 'Sye Raa' gets positive reviews, Chiranjeevi might just take the BO by a huge surprise over the weekend. Farhan Akhtar, who is one of the producers of the Hindi version of 'Sye Raa', must be keeping his fingers crossed.
