Actors Vishal and Dhanshika surprised fans recently by publicly announcing their relationship at a film festival, along with the news that their wedding is planned for August. While the two have never acted together in a film, a resurfaced incident from the past is now being linked to the beginning of their bond.

The story traces back to 2017 during the promotional event of the film Vizhithiru, in which Dhanshika played a key role. During the event, she inadvertently failed to mention veteran actor T. Rajendar, who was also present. Offended by the omission, T. Rajendar publicly scolded her on stage, saying, “Don’t you know how to show respect on stage?”

Despite Dhanshika offering a public apology, the situation escalated, leaving her in tears as she exited the event. At the time, Vishal, who was serving as the Nadigar Sangam President, stepped in to support her. He not only released an official statement backing Dhanshika but also personally visited her to offer comfort.

This act of solidarity is now being speculated as the starting point of their relationship, with fans on social media suggesting that the emotional connection may have grown over time into love.

Though neither Vishal nor Dhanshika has confirmed these speculations, the story has added an emotional layer to their relationship reveal — a bond seemingly built on empathy and support during a difficult moment.
