Watch: Richa Chadha's Shakeela trailer is out!

The much-awaited trailer of Shakeela, starring Richa Chadha in the lead role, has been released online. Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, Shakeela revolves around the yesteryear soft porn actress Shakeela, who was once the biggest star of the 1990s from Kerala.

The two-minute long trailer gives a glimpse of how a simple young girl became a soft porn star, despite her conservative Muslim background. The trailer also gives a glimpse of Pankaj Tripathi's character in the movie. Going by the trailer, the actor plays the role of a superstar who eventually gets threatened by Shakeela’s success.

'Shakeela' also stars Malayalam actor Rajeev Pillai. Produced by Sammy Nanwani and Sahil Nanwani, the movie was scheduled to hit the screens earlier this year but due to pandemic the movie was postponed. The movie will now have a multilingual release on December 25.
