ÂMahaan Kanakku is a quality entertainer that graced Tamil cinema in recent times. The film stars Ramana and Richa Sinha in the lead roles and is helmed by Sampath, with music by AK Rishal Sai.
The film that released towards the fag end of 2011 takes a dig on private banks, but without getting preachy at any point. Ramana makes use of the loopholes in the private banking system and gets back at them. The emotions are rightly brought about by the characters and Ramana was praised by all critics. The movie does away from cliché masala elements like high voltage fights and is close to reality.
