Loser web-series is releasing on 15th May, 2020. It is produced by Annapurna Studios for Zee5. Annapurna did enter into production of various serials and web-series before, what tmakes this Loser, a new attempt?

The makers don't want to reveal too much so early but the crew is all youngsters who graduated from Annapurna International Film School and that makes it an unique attempt from others. We have never seen a production house coming forward to encourage film school students with a show like this till date.

Abhilash, the writer and director, made a web-series before  but this one is a huge leap for him as the production house and cast are all well-established in the Industry. He has to guide his fellow alumni from the same institute while also stand tall on the trust placed on him.

Priyadarshi trying out something  new and different will get more people to watch the show for first episodes but it is him and his crew, who have to sustain the interest and take it forward to next season. While that increases pressure, if the young team pulls it off successfully, then Telugu OTT platforms will encourage more youngsters to come forward with unique ideas and content.

A sports drama on Telugu Screen is very rare genre to be attempted and if this Loser succeeds, it may open up new avenues to youngsters to come up with different attempts. Hence, Loser seems to be all poised to be a winner for many, if it delivers on the promise.
