What's wrong between Mammootty and Lal Jose?

There seems to be something brewing between Mammootty and director Lal Jose. It has been noticed that the duo are reluctant to encounter each other during functions. This phenomena was witness during the ad filmmakers' meet held yesterday too.
Mammootty was in the front during the function and Lal Jose refused to be seated in the actor's vicinity. It was after Mammootty left that Lal Jose occupied the front row. Mammootty has acted in many a Lal Jose movies. They had associated together last in 2013 for 'Immanuel'.
