If you are the administrator of a WhatsApp group, you now have the luxury to limit activity to just yourself. In other words, you can change settings to ensure you alone can send messages to group members. None else in your group can write any message. They can only be passive recipients of messages.

This kind of arrangement is best suited for making official announcements in professional or political or any other type of groups. In these groups, non-official messages are unwelcome but members of the group tend to send 'Good Morning' or other extraneous messages/shares. Their honeymoon is now over.
