When Ayushmann Khurrana was sexually harassed

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has outed his 'Me Too' experience. The talented 'Bala' actor, earlier this week, said that a gay film industry person had sought a sexual favour from him when he was trying hard to land opportunities.

In an interview with an entertainment portal, the versatile actor narrated how he was sexually harassed by a casting director. "A casting director had told me, 'I'll give you the lead role if you showed me your tool.' I told him I'm straight and I politely refused his offer," the actor opened up regarding his casting couch experience. By tool, the predator meant the male genital.

The incident only confirms that a percentage of victims of sexual harassment are males, although an overwhelming majority of victims are unarguably females.

Ayushmann was recently in the news for participating in an online concert to raise funds for an NGO. "Corona se mar sakte hain par bhook se kabhi nahi. These words have been ringing in my ears since the time I heard a daily wage earner speaking about his life in lockdown. I have tried to articulate the things I have deeply felt since then," the Hindi film actor said, participating in the concert that has raised more than Rs 70 Cr so far.
