When Byomkesh met Byomkesh

The iconic Indian screen detective Byomkesh Bakshy, which was earlier played by veteran actor Rajit Kapoor, has now been reprised by the young and handsome Sushant Singh Rajput. Yesterday it was quite exciting to see both of these detectives together when Sushant met Rajit Kapoor.

Rajit Kapoor played Byomkesh Bakshy in the hit television series on the detective that we have grown up on, while Sushant is playing the detective in Dibakar Banerjee's film that hit screens today.

Sushant, Rajit and Dibakar met up and interacted at length. They discussed Byomkesh Baksh, how it was to play the iconic character and their experience during the shoot.

Dibakar Banerjee's 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' is set in Kolkata 1943, in the back drop of the Second World War.
