With her trailer of YRF's Mardaani', Rani Mukherji has already created a great impact even before the film's release. Not only the trailer but also the actress has been appreciated well and received a lot of positive feedback. Rani's portrayal as a tough cop has been applauded.

Rani, who will be seen performing tough action sequences in the film, has trained really hard for her role. In fact, the film's first look poster, that is out, literally has Rani's sweat, blood and tears.

According to sources, while shooting for the poster Rani's co-actor Anil George accidently injured her toe which started bleeding profusely. Rani was in a lot of pain and the bleeding took quite some time to subside even with first aid. Since the camera was rolling, this was captured on camera and since it looked so real, the shot has been used in the poster of the film. The poster has grabbed a lot of eyeballs and has been receiving an incredible response.

Mardaani' is a gritty cop film on trafficking in India. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra, it will release on 22nd August '14.
