When Thalapathy Vijay treated reel mother as real mother

Thalapathy Vijay one of the biggest heroes in South Indian cinema is known for his down to earth attitude coupled with the highest dedication to his work. He has currently finished shooting for the upcoming Diwali release 'Sarkar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures.

In 'Sarkar' yesteryear heroine Thulasi is playing the role of Vijay's character's mother and in a recent press interaction she has gushed about her distinguished costar. Thulasi has stated that Vijay used to call her Amma (mother) on and off screen and bonded well with her. He also had advised her that she should encourage her son Sai to join a frontline director and learn the ropes of filmmaking.

Thulasi who took a long break from acting made a comeback in Vijay Sethupathi's 'Pannayarum Padminiyum' and is now one of the most sought after actress for mother roles.
