Post the tremendous success of Thuppakki, the news about another project of the duo broke out a while back. Also doing the rounds of rumor were AnirudhÂs addition for music composition, usually Murugadoss sticks to Harris, however AnirudhÂs Ethirneechal has paved way. The team was on the lookout for an apt heroine, and the buzz is that Samantha has been roped in to play VijayÂs pair in this movie.
Some other sources also revealed that the talks for signing up Deepika Padukone failed owing to the busy call sheet of the actress and hence the director had to turn into Samantha. However an official confirmation from the unit is yet to be out and hence watch this space for more tidbits on this movie.
