Who is the voice behind Jyothika's 'Rasathi...'

The 'Rasathi...' song from Jyothika's comeback vehicle '36 Vayadhinile' has become a rage. Lalitha Vijaykumar, a 57-year-old music teacher, is the voice behind the popular number. Interestingly, this is her debut song for a film.
Lalitha was a neighbour of music composer Santhosh Narayanan in Trichy. When he wanted a peculiar voice for 'Rasathi...', he approached Lalitha, who became nervous with the offer. "Jolly-a paadunga aunty, said Santhosh, who supervised the recording from Sydney," says Laltiha.
Lalitha's son Pradeep is a playback singer and music composer. "Pradeep and Santhosh grew up together in Trichy and we have been a family for a long time," says Lalitha, who retires this August. She also says Dev and Diya, the kids of Suriya-Jyothika, liked 'Rasathi' very much.
