A recent survey conducted by a prominent media outlet has revealed surprising results regarding the potential next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The survey included current Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, actor-turned-politician Vijay, AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS), and BJP’s Annamalai. Vijay secured second place, surpassing both EPS and Annamalai, creating a major buzz in political circles.

Despite launching his political party, Tamil Nadu Vetrikazhagam, just a year ago, Vijay’s entry into politics has significantly impacted the state’s political landscape. Analysts believe that his opposition to both the central and state governments positions him as a strong contender for the 2026 elections—especially if he forms strategic alliances.
