Why Brahmi doesn't celebrate New Year

  • IndiaGlitz, [Tuesday,January 10 2012]

Brahmanadam, who usually comes across as a fun-loving person, has stopped celebrating New Year for long now. There is a reason for this. December 31 happens to be the death anniversary of his father. The actor was recently quoted as saying that he likes to stay indoors on this day and doesn’t venture out at all.

Brahmi, who never goes out of currency, and who is the most respected comedian, doesn't want to predict the fate of a film, because he vouches for what the great lyricist Atreya had once said. That it is easy to know God's existence but it is difficult to gauge the pulse of the moving going public.

There is no truth in the rumour that Brahmi is seriously considering direction. At least, at this stage he is not willing to forgo film offers and concentrate on a project. As an actor who has worked in more than 800 films, he intuitively knows that direction is not his cup of tea. Working for a film demands lot of mental work and one has to sacrifice a lot to ruminating and visualising the movie. Which Brahmi may not be doing any time sooner.
