For actress Meera Chopra, debuting in Telugu in a Pawan Kalyan film was no ordinary thing. Though she was a name to reckon with in Kollywood with S J Suryah's Anbe Aruyire and some other films in her kitty, she could never make a mark in Tollywood.

The reason being her first film Bangaram and her second film Vaana under MS Raju's production did not do too well at the box office. Meera Chopra bagged a film opposite Nitin some years back and it was titled Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Unfortunately for her, it did not take off speedily but finally it seems to be seeing the light of the day.

Rechristened as Maro, the film is releasing soon. The film is directed by Siddique and Mani Sharma is the music director.
