The buzz is that Shekar Kammula is planning to arrange a special screening for Rahul Gandhi, of his latest offering Leader. The film is set to release on the 11th. As is well-known, the film is about a youngster who makes it big in politics.

The character of an idealistic politician is played by Daggubati Rana. Produced by AVM, the film has been made as a full-fledged political caper. A rare one of its kind in Telugu, it is perhaps the first mainstream political caper in Telugu after a long time. More important, politician's role is being played by the film's protagonist, who is, important again, a youngster.

Rana's character has been inspired by a host of great world leaders like JF Kennedy, as per the actor himself. In an interview to a news channel, Rana has said that the character has been fashioned around some Indian politicians like Rajiv Gandhi too.

Rahul Gandhi, a parliamentarian and Congress politico, is learnt to have been invited for the screening. However, it is not known whether he will make time for the screening. But, if he does, the film is sure to get immense publicity even in Delhi-based 24/7 news channels. More, Rahul might just ask every youngster to watch it. All the best, Leader team!
