Will Salman's arrest help "Saawan - The Love Season"?

More often than not a controversy surrounding an actor or the film itself has always helped a movie's run at the theatres. Though producer-director Saawan Kumar shied away from any controversy (whether with good or bad publicity) for his latest film 'Saawan - The Love Season', it seems that fate had other plans set for the film.
With Salman Khan getting arrested and sentenced to 5 years jail, the nation's hero is back in the limelight with all news channels, newspapers and other media forums placing him on the front page. For a change, there is a unanimous support for him this time around, both from his friends and foes, due to the supposedly harsh treatment which means that his fans are vouching for him with a renewed vigor.
With a support like this, it won't be surprising if his 'Saawan - The Love Season' gets an extra mileage and the collections get benefited at the box office. Anyways, compared to the other two releases of the week [Shaadi Se Pehle, Banaras - a Mystic Love Story], his film has fetched a better opening and any better collections from here should only help the film sail through comfortably.
