With Karthi saying no, Bhaskar approaches Ram

Bommarillu Bhaskar may have had a flop in the form of Orange, but nobody would deny that he is a lightweight in the industry. He is one of the few talented directors we have in Tollywood. He spun a surprise when he reportedly narrated a story to Tamil actor Karthi some weeks ago. The Na Peru Shiva fame star apparently liked the story but he could not say yes, for want of dates.

Following this, the buzz goes that Bhaskar approached Endukante Premanta star Ram and narrated a story (whether this is the same story as was offered to Karthi or a different one is not known). The actor has liked the story. In fact, BVSN Prasad is keen on producing this film.

Bhaskar, who was at the receiving end of Naga Babu's (producer of Orange) ire, for allegedly taking longer than usual to wrap up the film, has been keeping low-profile for many months. The Bommarillu director is one of the few filmmakers who goes to the floor with a bound script. Hope we are in for a sensible romantic film from Ram-Bhaskar duo.
