Women gather in protest against Tamil actress in Chennai

The Valasaravakkam area in Chennai experienced commotion amidst the coronavirus lockdown, as several women gathered in protest against a Tamil film actress. The actress involved in the controversy is Paandi Lakshmi who has acted in a few films including 'Oru Kuppa Kathai'.

It is said that Paandi Lakshmi who resides in Devi Kuppam in Valasaravakkam, Chennai lodged a complaint against a few youth who jumped across her compound wall to catch doves. A fight ensued between her and them which resulted in both sides approaching the police.

Earlier this morning around twenty women gathered in front of Paandi Lakshmi's house and raised slogans against her in protest. When police rushed there the people of the area also joined in alleged that the actress regularly creates a ruckus by not allowing anyone to even walk or stand for a few minutes in the road where her house is located.

The area residents further claimed that the actress also regularly has misunderstandings with shopkeepers and causes a nuisance to others and sought legal action against her. The cops then convinced those gathered to disburse and also said to have advised the actresss.
