'World Famous Lover' to be an infamous disaster

'World Famous Lover', released on Valentine's Day, may well go on to become the biggest disaster in Vijay Deverakonda's career. At the time of writing this piece, trade reports for Saturday (Day 2) are highly discouraging.
After receiving much adulation from the audience in terms of superb advance bookings in Hyderabad and other territories, the romantic drama failed to live up to expectations post-release. Saturday saw a huge decadence in collections in key markets such as Nizam and Uttarandhra, triggering fears that it will bite the dust from Monday onwards.
Given that the Kranthi Madhav directorial has to earn Rs 29 Cr (for breakeven), all hopes have disappeared. After a flop like 'Dear Comrade', Vijay definitely didn't deserve a dud like 'WFL'.
