On March 29, 2025, The World Water Day Gram Sabha was successfully conducted at Mettupalayam Community Hall, bringing together students and local residents in a collaborative effort to promote water conservation.

Students from the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and National Service Scheme (NSS) of S.A. College of Arts & Science actively participated alongside village residents to discuss sustainable water management, conservation techniques, and community-driven initiatives. The discussions emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring a water-secure future.

Speakers at the event highlighted practical steps for water conservation, including rainwater harvesting, efficient irrigation methods, and reducing water wastage. The Sabha served as a platform to strengthen awareness and commitment towards sustainable water practices.
