Writer denies Nithya Menon controversy

As is known, a biopic on Savitri is out to be made by Nag Ashwin of 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' fame. The film was to have Nithya Menon playing the Mahanati, but the role eventually slipped through her hands. It's now supposedly in Keerthy Suresh's kitty.
The prestigious venture's dialogue-writer Sai Madhav Burra has said that he never interfered with casting with respect to this film. Asked if Nithya walked out after developing differences with the director because she kept on insisting that only Burra should write the script, the writer tells IndiaGlitz that nothing of that sort ever happened.
"After 'Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju', Nithya Menon garu has done many movies. Did I pen the scripts for any of them?" he retorts.
