WWE star Brock Lesner's lawyer threatens to sue Ranveer Singh for stealing catchphrase

After captioning WWE champion Brock Lesner’s catchphrase (incorrectly) “Eat. Sleep. Conquer. Repeat,” in one of his Twitter posts to describe Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is being threatened with a copyright lawsuit by Paul Heyman, Lesner’s advocate in and outside WWE.

Ranveer Singh was at the Old Trafford for India’s match against Pakistan on Sunday, and cheered for the Men in Blue from the stands with full vigour and had even met and clicked pictures with almost all the players. Sharing his pictures with all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Ranveer had captioned the post, “Eat. Sleep. Dominate. Repeat. The name is Hardik. Hardik Pandya. @hardikpandya7 ma boi #unstoppable.” Paul Heyman, who happened to take notice of his iconic catchphrase “Eat. Sleep. Conquer. Repeat.” for Lesner, which was chanted by him every time Lesner stepped inside the ring, took issue with the post and gave Ranveer a litigation warning in his response.

“@RanveerOfficial ARE YOU F'N KIDDING ME???????????
1 - It's Eat Sleep CONQUER Repeat
2 - Copyright #YourHumbleAdvocate and @BrockLesnar
3 - I am litigious
4 - EAT SLEEP DEPOSITION REPEAT,” Paul Heyman’s post read.

Even though the warning may have well been in good humour, Paul Heyman is known to take his advocate role a bit too seriously. Meanwhile, Ranveer’s response to Heyman’s tweet is awaited.
