The leading action hero Arun Vijay amazed the Tamil audience with his roles in 'Yennai Arindhaal', 'Thadaiyara Thaakka', 'Kuttram 23', 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' and 'Thadam'. He has now joined forces with his brother-in-law and ace director Hari for the mass rural entertainer 'Yaanai'.

'Yaanai' has an ensemble cast of Arun Vijay, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Ammu Abirami, KGF Ramachandra Raju, Radhika Sarathkumar, Aadukalam Jayapalan, Imman Annachi, Rajesh, Aishwarya, Bose Venkat, Sanjeev, Pugazh with music by GV Prakash Kumar.

Arun Vijay will be seen as an aggressive village young man, who locks horns with the baddies to protect his family. The story is set to happen in and around Rameshwaram. It has visuals by Gopinath and editing by Anthony. The film is slated to hit the screens on May 6.
