A film titled "Yamakaathagi," directed by debutant director Peppin George Jayaseelan, was released on the 7th of this month. The movie features actors like Roopa, Narendra Prasad, Geetha Kailasam, Raju Rajappan, Subash Ramasamy, and Haritha. A success meet for the film was held in Chennai.

Speaking at the event, actress Geetha Kailasam shared her thoughts, saying, "'Yamakaathagi' is a very significant film. I was offered this role right after completing five to six movies. The story intrigued me from the beginning. Even though I had only one dialogue, I had a strong presence throughout the film. I thank Peppin for trusting me with this role. The experience of working with nearly 45 people together in a village brought many fond memories. The villagers became close friends. Roopa portrayed a dead body for 35 days, which was truly commendable."

She further added, "We shot for 35 days in a mourning house, which was a unique experience. This film is one of the most important in my career. I extend my gratitude to everyone who worked in it. People affectionately call me 'Kollywood's Latest Amma,' which makes me happy, yet I aspire to be recognized as a strong character artist."
