Yash Chopra to direct Aamir Khan

The last time we witnessed a poignant romantic flick made by Yash Chopra was ÂVeer ZaaraÂ. A heart-touching tale of alienated hearts and their reunion was the heart and soul of this film featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta in lead roles.
The versatile moviemaker Yash, who celebrated his birthday recently has admitted that he has signed Aamir Khan for next directorial.
ItÂs worth mentioning that AamirÂs relationship with Chopra family developed more closely after ÂFanaaÂ. As well, Yash had approached Aamir to do the lead role in ÂDarr (1993), which was later performed by Shah Rukh Khan.
According to the sources, Yash Chopra has planned to commence the project by Jan 2010 and release it by yearend.
However, when approached Rafiq Gangjee of YRF, he says Yash Chopra's next directorial script has still not been finalized. The issue of casting arises only after that.
