Sardar director and Nala Damayanti heroine competing to direct Yashs new movie?

Kannada actor Yash has become a pan Indian superstar with just two films 'KGF 1' and 'KGF 2' both directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films. Fans all over the country cant wait to watch him on the big screen again but he is taking it easy and has not made any move to start his next for more than a year now.

Hombale Films has already announced that 'KGF 3' is happening but it can realistically go on floors only after a couple of years as Prashant Neel has Prabhas's 'Salaar' to complete and then move on to 'NTR 31'.

Meanwhile there is a strong buzz in Sandalwood that Yash has listened to a script narration by actress turned director Geethu Mohandas and liked it so much that he has given the green signal to her to develop the project. Geethu who started her career as a child artiste in Malayalam films acted as a deaf mute child in 'En Bomma KuttyAmmavukku' directed by Faasil and starring Sathyaraj, Raghuvaran and Suhasini.

15 years later she played the heroine opposite Madhavan in 'Nala Damayanthi' directed by Mouli and produced by Kamal Haasan released in 2003. She made her directorial debut in 2014 with the Hindi film 'Liar's Dice' which won the Special Jury award at the 18th Sofia International Film Festival and also two National Film Awards.

Geethu's most recent film 'Moothon' starring Nivin Pauly received high critical acclaim and won the Global filmmaking award for story in Sundance film festival 2016. The Yash-Geethu Mohandas project is expected to be announced soon.

Meanwhile there are also reports that Yash has liked a script by director P.S. Mithran of 'Sardar' and 'Hero' fame. This project is also likely to be greenlit sometime in the future. Now the question is which of these films will be the much awaited 'Yash 19'.
