Kollywood starlet Yashika who has acted in a few movies and television serials, has committed suicide by hanging herself to death at her house in Chennai. She had sent a Whatsapp message to her mother that strong punishment should be given to her boyfriend. The victim blamed her live-in partner for her woes.

Yashika aka Mary Sheela Jebarani was said to have been in love with Arvind alias Mohan Babu, a businessman from Perambur. She had been in a live-in relationship with him for the past four months.

Three days back, certain misunderstandings arose between the two, following which Arvind left her. It seems she was in a state of depression after that.
