Yes to Dhanush, no to Vairamuthu - Ilayaraja

'Poetu' Dhanush seems to have taken the job of lyricist seriously. What started as just an hobby for the National award winning actor is turning to be quite a serious identity for him. He has not restricted himself only to pen lyrics for his own movie, he penned a song for 'Idam Porul Eval' in Yuvan's composition. This movie marks Yuvan's first time partnership with prolific lyricist, Vairamuthu.

There were news in the past reporting that Ilayaraja will be crooning the song which is penned by Vairamuthu. But the news which we've got is, the Maestro will be singing a song which is written by, Dhanush. Well, this has put an end to the excitement created around the music buffs to see these two veterans hold hands together once again. Both of them part away long ago due to various degrees of difference in opinion.

'Idal Porul Eval' is being directed by Seenu Ramasamy and Thiruppathi Brothers are producing the movie. Vijay Sethupathy, Vishal, Nandita, and Ishwarya Rajesh completes the lead cast.
