The beauty since then went on to do a few south Indian films, including 'Rana' (opposite Balakrishna) and 'Omkaram' in Telugu. After many years, the former female lead is back in Telugu with Prahbas' 20th outing.

An English-language daily has reported that she is essaying an important role in the Prabhas-Radhakrishna Kumar romantic drama. Bhagyashree is part of the ongoing schedule in Hyderabad. The makers feel that she brings with her a certain charm and grace. Also, she is familiar with the Hindi audience.

The untitled film ('Jaan' is said to have been rejected by Prabhas) has 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' actress Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
