Director Balaji Mohan who had last directed Dhanush starrer Maari 2, had recently announced that he is all set to launch his first feature film production venture in his production house Open Window. He had earlier produced the web series As I'm Suffering from Kadhal in the banner.

It has now been revealed that this movie which will mark Balaji Mohan's first feature film production has been named as Mandela and the title look poster of the film has been released. The movie has Yogi Babu playing the lead role and is directed by debutant Madonne Ashwin.

This movie is made in collaboration with Y Not Studios, Reliance Entertainment and Wishberry films and has music by Bharath Shankar and cinematography by Vidhu Ayyana, The poster features a barber setup with a comb, scissors and shaving blade and Yogi Babu might play a barber in the movie.
