Actor Yogi Babu recently surprised many by publicly apologizing to legendary cinematographer Madhu Ambat during the promotional event for his upcoming film Jora Kaithattungal. The gesture, made with humility and respect, has garnered attention across the film industry.

Yogi Babu, who plays the lead in Jora Kaithattungal, took the stage to speak about the film and praised Madhu Ambat, the film’s cinematographer. “Don’t mistake him as old—he’s full of energy and creativity. He even narrated a wonderful story to me recently, and we’ll be working together on a new film soon,” he said.

However, realizing he may have revealed this future collaboration prematurely, Yogi Babu quickly turned to Madhu Ambat and added, “Madhu sir, I shared this without asking your permission. I’m sorry.”

Madhu Ambat, a legendary figure in Indian cinema, has over five decades of experience and is known for his work in acclaimed films like Mani Ratnam’s Anjali and Kamal Haasan’s Nammavar. A recipient of the National Award, his contribution to Indian cinematography is widely celebrated.
