Fifteen children most of whom were infected by the coronavirus are hospitalized in New York City with a mysterious syndrome which has not yet been understood by doctors. This mystery disease has been reported in few European countries.

The health department has said that most of the children between the age of 2 to 15 have displayed symptoms connected with toxic shock or Kawasaki disease which is a rare illness involving blood vessel inflammation, including coronary arteries.

As reported by the health department, none of these child patients with these symptoms in New York City have died, and the bulletin from the department has described it as a multisystem inflammatory syndrome potentially associated with Covid-19.
