Actress Jyothika recently had a release with the movie Ponmagal Vandhaal which was released directly on Amazon prime video skipping a theatrical release. The movie produced by Suriya and Jyothika's 2D Entertainment received good reviews.

Ponmagal Vandhaal is the debut direction venture of director JJ Frederick and now, weeks after the release of the movie, the young maker has thanked Suriya and Jyothika and has revealed that they had surprised him with a MacBook Pro as a gift, and shared a photo of it on Twitter.
